Why is sea buckthorn so useful?
The main value of sea buckthorn is its rich composition:
Vitamin Bomb: It is one of the record holders for the content of vitamin C-it is here ten times more than in lemons. Sea buckthorn also contains B vitamins, vitamins E, K, and R.
A storehouse of antioxidants: Berries are rich in carotenoids (provitamin A), flavonoids, and other antioxidants that fight free radicals, protecting cells from damage and slowing down aging.
Omega-acids: Sea buckthorn oil (derived from berries and seeds) uniquely combines all types of omega-fatty acids: omega-3, omega-6, omega-9, as well as the rare omega-7 (palmitoleic acid), which is extremely important for the health of the skin and mucous membranes.
Minerals and trace elements: In the composition of sea buckthorn, you can find potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese and other important elements.
Application of sea buckthorn:
For immunity: Due to the high content of vitamin C, sea buckthorn is a powerful tool for strengthening the immune system and preventing colds.
For digestion: Sea buckthorn oil effectively heals the mucous membranes, helping with gastritis, ulcers and other gastrointestinal problems.
For skin and hair: In cosmetology, sea buckthorn oil is used to regenerate the skin, reduce inflammation, fight wrinkles, and also to strengthen and give shine to hair.
For the cardiovascular system: A complex of vitamins and fatty acids helps to strengthen the walls of blood vessels and normalize cholesterol levels.

Let this "golden berry" become a part of your diet and give you energy and health!
Our sea buckthorn is grown in ecologically clean regions of Kyrgyzstan — in the foothills of the Tien Shan. We do not use chemicals, so it retains its natural taste and maximum benefits.
Sea buckthorn is a real storehouse of vitamins and antioxidants. It is exceptionally rich in vitamin C (significantly superior to citrus fruits), vitamins E, K, group B, carotenoids, omega-3, -6, -7 and -9 fatty acids, as well as minerals. This makes it a powerful immunostimulant, a means to improve digestion, skin, hair and nail health, as well as to support the cardiovascular system.
Fresh sea buckthorn berries can be stored in the refrigerator for several days. For long-term storage, it is better to freeze them (whole or in the form of puree), dry them or make jam, jam, juice or butter from them. Frozen sea buckthorn retains most of its beneficial properties for up to a year. Products like sea buckthorn oil should be stored in a dark, cool place.
Sea buckthorn oil is universal! It can be taken orally to support digestion, heal the mucous membranes and strengthen the immune system. It is also widely used externally: for healing wounds, burns, cuts, in cosmetology for skin and hair care, as well as in gynecology and proctology due to its regenerating properties.
Despite all the benefits, there are some contraindications. With caution, sea buckthorn should be consumed by people with acute diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (ulcers, gastritis with high acidity, pancreatitis, cholecystitis in the acute stage), as well as with individual intolerance or allergies. Because of its choleretic effect, it is not recommended to use in large quantities for cholelithiasis.
To maximize the beneficial properties of sea buckthorn, it is best to use it fresh or frozen. Freshly squeezed juice or fruit juice, as well as sea buckthorn puree without heat treatment are ideal options. During heat treatment, some vitamins, especially vitamin C, can be destroyed, but nevertheless, jams, jams and compotes from sea buckthorn still remain very useful.
You can distinguish between male and female sea buckthorn plants by the buds and shape of the bush. In male plants, the buds are larger, more rounded and covered with a large number of scales (similar to fish scales), and the bushes are often more sprawling. In female plants, the buds are smaller, more elongated and flat, and the bushes are usually more compact. These differences are most noticeable in spring, before the leaves open. The male plant is necessary for pollination, the female-for fruiting.
